At three weeks old, the puppies begin to experience the world in new ways. Their ear canals, which are closed at birth, start to open, allowing them to hear Winnie's voice and mine for the first time.
As for mobility, while they may be wobbly and uncoordinated, the pups at this age begin experimenting with standing up on their paws and taking their first tentative steps as they gain strength in their front and back legs, enabling them to support their bodies fully. This means they can start exploring their surroundings and engaging in play! They'll begin interacting more with their siblings, growing less dependent on Winnie for warmth.
Around the 21-day mark, they also start to grow their tiny, sharp puppy teeth. These will eventually be replaced by stronger adult teeth by the time they're about 3 to 4 months old. By around 8 months, they should have a full set of adult teeth.
